🎙️ Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on facing Arsenal again following their 3-2 loss to them in the Carabao Cup:
“They spend most of the time in the opponent’s final third, switching the play from left to right and right to left, making you repeat the same movements over and over until you lose concentration. Then, it’s just a matter of time before they find the gap and score. So, we need to apply more pressure to force them to pass back and push them out of our defensive third. That’s what I believe we need to focus on.
“We could see the quality of Arsenal. We could see especially in the second half of how quick you can move the ball, making the runs, how accurate they can pass in the gaps. we need to find the right moments. I know it’s not that easy because they move so well, with and without the ball.”
