Doctor gives update after spotting what Bukayo Saka did before going off injured against Greece as new footage emerges of Arsenal star

A doctor has delivered an update on Bukayo Saka after seeing what the Arsenal man did before limping off for England.

On Thursday night, Saka started on the right side of Lee Carsley’s attack as England suffered a shock 2-1 defeat against Greece at Wembley.

Vangelis Pavlidis scored twice to cancel out Jude Bellingham’s equaliser to seal a famous win for the visitors.

Saka was replaced by Chelsea winger Noni Madueke in the 52nd minute after suffering what looked like a muscle injury.

The Arsenal man limped off the pitch and was seen limping through the mixed zone after the match.

On social media, physical therapy doctor and fitness and movement coach Dr Rajpal Brar gave an update on Saka’s potential injury after footage showed the winger holding the back of his leg prior to being taken off.

He wrote on his X account: “Saka clearly holding the back of his right leg here which typically indicates hamstring.

“Unable to watch but am told he felt it during a sprint and then after kicking with that leg. The hope is a grade 0 which means no overt injury and just discomfort. TBD.”
