CARLO ANCELOTTI DROPS ARDA GÜLER HINT AFTER REAL MADRID’S VICTORY OVER BARCELONA

The latest comments on the part of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti are no doubt set to bring a collective smile to the faces of Blancos fans the world over.

As much comes after the Italian tactician provided an update on his plans for forgotten midfielder Arda Güler.

Real, of course, are fresh off another high-profile victory on Sunday night.

After welcoming arch rivals Barcelona to the Spanish capital, Los Blancos ultimately emerged on the right side of a 3-2 result, courtesy of goals on the part of all of Vinícius Jr, Lucas Vázquez, and Jude Bellingham.

The capital giants, as a result, have opened up what looks an insurmountable 11-point advantage over 2nd-placed Barcelona atop the La Liga table.

Speaking to the media post-match, Carlo Ancelotti, in turn, was drawn on the performances of a whole host of his key players en route to Clásico victory.

In addition, though, the former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss was asked about plans for one of those to have remained glued to the bench across the 90 minutes on Sunday.

With the summer arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu having now failed to step foot on the pitch in Real’s colours for over a month, Ancelotti was questioned on his plans for Arda Güler.

And, in his response, the club’s headmaster confirmed that, with the La Liga title now all but wrapped up, midfielder Güler will soon see a major uptick in game-time:

“Arda Güler will have the minutes he wants very soon.”
