Victoria Beckham is officially reuniting with the Spice Girls for the first time in 13 years — and this time, they’re becoming superheroes.

The 51-year-old fashion icon will join her iconic bandmates Geri Horner, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton for an animated project titled The Spice Girls, which marks their first professional collaboration since their unforgettable performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.

According to IMDb, the project is currently in early production and will feature all five members voicing their animated alter egos — Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby Spice. The description teases an exciting storyline where the girls are “superheroes,” though further details remain under wraps.

The timing couldn’t be more fitting. Victoria recently dazzled at the premiere of her Netflix docuseries Victoria Beckham in London, where she was joined by her husband, Sir David Beckham, and their children — except Brooklyn, who reportedly missed the event due to ongoing family tensions. Her former bandmates Emma, Geri and Mel C were also there to show their support, while Mel B, unable to attend due to work commitments in the US, sent a heartfelt bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion.

It’s been over a decade since Victoria last shared a stage with the group. Although she opted out of the Spice Girls’ 2019 reunion tour to focus on her fashion empire, she has consistently celebrated the group’s legacy and remained close with the other members.

During a recent chat with Andy Cohen, Victoria playfully admitted that she’s been brainstorming more Spice Girls ideas ahead of the 30th anniversary of their 1996 hit “Wannabe.” When asked about performing again, she joked: “It would be tempting. But could I take on a world tour? No, I can’t. I have a job… How good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere! I love the idea of it. I mean, I don’t know if I could even still sing, I mean, I was never that great!” prompting Cohen to reassure her with a laugh: “You can sing, babe.”

While it’s not yet confirmed if the new animated project will be a series or a film, fans are thrilled that all five members will finally be reunited — not just as pop legends, but as animated superheroes ready to bring a new generation of “Girl Power” to life.
