Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham has reignited speculation of a family rift after storming off during a tense moment at the NYC Wine & Food Festival. The 26-year-old chef was hosting the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0 alongside TV host Rachael Ray when a reporter asked for his thoughts on Victoria Beckham, the new Netflix documentary about his mother.
Eyewitnesses said Brooklyn was happy to discuss his cooking career until the journalist mentioned Victoria’s name. In response, he abruptly turned his back, muttered something under his breath, and walked away from the interview area.

The incident comes just weeks after Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, skipped the London premiere of the documentary — a high-profile family event attended by David, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Beckham. The absence of the eldest Beckham son sparked renewed talk of strained relations, especially after Brooklyn also missed his father’s 50th birthday celebration earlier this year.

Despite Brooklyn’s absence, Victoria made sure to mention him during her emotional thank-you speech at the premiere. She said her husband David had “given her no choice” but to do the show, adding: “My children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David — oh no, he’s not a child! It’s taken this process to realise I am enough.” She went on to thank her parents, siblings, and the Spice Girls for their continued love and support.
While Victoria remains publicly gracious, fans have noted the growing distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family. Nicola and Victoria have long been rumoured to have clashed over wedding plans and media attention, though both have denied any ongoing feud.

Still, Friday’s walkout has only fuelled speculation that tensions remain high behind the scenes — particularly as Victoria celebrates the success of her latest project without her eldest son by her side.
