shared another sweep snap of his daughter Harper kissing him on the cheek, having previously hit back at critics over their affection.
The footballer, 50, took to Instagram to repost the image that had been shared by his wife Victoria.
For many years the Beckhams have sparked widespread discussion over their affections, with David dividing fans by sharing images showing him kissing his daughter – yet he has always remained defiant.
Victoria shared the sweet image of David and Harper after they enjoyed dinner with her parents Jackie and Tony.
David previously stood up to critics who said kissing his daughter on the lips was odd, previously posting snaps doing the same thing in 2018, 2019 and another in 2023.
The sports star hit back at his critics at the time while taking part in a Facebook Live at the time on his own official page during a trip to Bangkok, where he insisted he kisses all of his children on the lips – aside from his eldest son Brooklyn.

While many had branded previous images of their kissing ‘beautiful’ and a depiction of the ‘close bond’ he has with Harper, David has also been hit with a barrage of negative comments as others claimed the post had been ‘disgusting’.
Baffled by the strong reaction it received, David addressed his photo with Harper and said: ‘I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn maybe not…
‘Brooklyn [was then] 18, so he might find that a little strange, but I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up – and Victoria – and it’s how we are with our children.’
The former England captain continued: ‘We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them and support them.’
Gushing about his role as a father, David added: ‘Having children is the most special thing in the world.’
Like David, Victoria has previously shared photos of herself kissing Harper while the duo were taking a dip in the pool together during a holiday in 2017.
In January last year, David again shared an image showing him kissing then-10-year-old Harper on the lips, after which he faced criticism.
As with previous comments from fans, followers took to the comments section to weigh in on the shots, with some branding the images ‘beautiful’ and defending the star, while others insisted she was too old for the gesture.

Taking to the comments section, critics penned: ‘She is a big girl now time for you to stop kissing her on the lips… Bad to kiss your daughter… ….comeee oooonnnn guys! Victoria tell this to not doing anymore… not good…
‘b’cause ok …father and daughter I undurstand love is ok,but to me this is not clear exaple for promote love, many ways have to promote love kiss dougter in mounth for me is bit freak ..sorry but that is my opinion’.
Despite the uncertainty from some, others were more encouraging of the gesture, with fans writing: ‘Beautiful!! But wait for the ‘don’t kiss your child on the lips’ complete weirdo comments… shut up this is totally normal…
‘you would hate me and my kids, my son is 17 and daughter is 16 and I kiss them on the lips, they are my children!… what’s your problem? You’re the only creep with that opinion.’
It comes after David and Victoria upset their well-heeled neighbours with plans to build a new access road to their £12million Cotswolds home – so they no longer have to share with the crowds that flock to nearby trendy Soho Farmhouse.
The couple have applied for planning permission to turn an agricultural track into a tarmac-laid access route to their Maplewood Barn home – which would enable them to avoid the influencer-wannabe revellers who swarm in their hundreds to enjoy the famed members club.
But the move – the latest in a long line of unpopular planning applications at their residence – has not gone down well.
At least one of their neighbours has claimed the bid must be stopped because it would affect ramblers who should be ‘undisturbed by giant SUV’s lumbering up and down’.
Currently the Beckham’s mansion near Great Tew has a single lane cul-de-sac access, which also serves as the only way for visitors to drive to Soho Farmhouse; the nearby retreat is billed as a ‘rural escape’ for members who pay £250 a month to enjoy the pools, health cub and range of country pursuits on offer – including clay pigeon shooting.
During the summer months in particular, minor celebrities and media-types come in their droves to relax and network – and their flashy cars are all filtered down the same – and currently only – road that serves the Beckhams’ own private retreat.
Now it seems they have finally had enough.
The couple have applied to West Oxfordshire District Council to change the use of part of the existing agricultural track to form a secondary residential access.

They want to extend the track to connect to their existing driveway and improve dropped kerb access and gates onto Ledwell Lane.
In documents to support their application, the Beckhams say their existing access to Tracey Lane is problematic as it is a single use cul-de-sac with busy and ‘unsafe’ levels of traffic.
But the plans, which are under consideration by the council, have already been hit with local backlash.
Joan Lane, who lives in Great Tew, said: ‘I must strongly object to this proposal.
‘The house already has gone perfectly serviceable access road so why is another stretch of tarmac laid through the woods deemed a good idea.
‘Ramblers use the lane and they should be left undisturbed by giant SUVs lumbering up and down. Please do not allow this application.’
In planning documents, a representative of the Beckhams described it as a ‘modest, sensitively designed conversion’.
They argued it would ‘modestly upgrade the existing crossover and gates at Ledwell Lane for safe residential use’.
The statement added: ‘The works respond to operational, safety, and amenity needs, while being carefully designed to conserve the rural, heritage and landscape character of the area.’
The Beckhams’ representative continued that that ‘an agricultural, low-key character’ would be retained, and any lighting, if later required, would be ‘minimal’.
A decision will be made by West Oxfordshire District Council on the latest plans at a later date.
