Martin Odegaard issues three-word verdict as he steps up Arsenal injury return

Martin Odegaard has stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury, with the Arsenal captain hoping to be back in action soon.

Arsenal shared a clip on social media of Odegaard continuing his rehabilitation during the international break, with the Gunners’ captain shown running on an AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill.

“What a day,” he says in the clip. “Running on the AlterG. Unreal.” Odegaard picked up the injury while away on international duty with Norway last month and has missed Arsenal’s last seven games across all competitions.

The midfielder offered a promising update on his recovery ahead of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Southampton at the weekend, writing in the matchday programme: “I just wanted to start with the latest on my injury and rehab.
