Boxing promoter Frank Warren made an unexpected attempt to recruit Brazilian football star Neymar to Arsenal during a high-profile boxing event in Saudi Arabia. Neymar, currently playing for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, was in attendance to watch Artur Beterbiev’s controversial victory over Dmitry Bivol on Saturday evening.
Warren, a lifelong Arsenal supporter and the founder of Queensberry Promotions, was seated ringside alongside Neymar for part of the night. Seizing the opportunity, Warren playfully tried to convince the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain forward to consider a move to his boyhood club.
