Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri is making waves both at the Emirates Stadium and on the international stage this season. The 17-year-old has been in impressive form, building on his breakout performances for the Gunners while also excelling for England U19s during October’s international break.
Nwaneri, who has been on the fringes of Arsenal’s first team, made two substitute appearances in the Premier League against Tottenham and Leicester earlier in the season. He also netted his first two senior goals with a brace in the Gunners’ 5-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup last month.
During the current international break, Nwaneri has continued to impress for England’s U19 side, featuring in three matches. He found the back of the net in a 2-1 loss to Portugal last Wednesday and contributed to a 4-1 win over the Netherlands on Saturday, coming on as a substitute for the final 25 minutes.
