Bukayo Saka has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for October.
Our winger made a huge impact in our games against Southampton and Liverpool to get a place on the eight-player shortlist, and your votes can help him win the prize!
Bukayo kicked off the month with a starring performance against the Saints, helping us come from behind by assisting Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli, before wrapping up the 3-1 win himself with a late strike.
After picking up an injury on international duty, Bukayo missed the loss at Bournemouth but returned to the side for our 2-2 draw against Liverpool last week, where he opened the scoring with a scintillating strike, on the day he once again captained the side and bagged his 50th Premier League goal. That is a contender for the Premier League Goal of the Month.
Saka’s Liverpool strike up for October’s GOTM
There are seven other players up for October’s award, with Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood leading the way with four goals, while Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and former Gunner Danny Welbeck have three apiece.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Leicester City midfielder Facundo Buonanotte, Josko Gvardiol of Manchester City and Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels complete the contenders.
