Alfie Haaland, father of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, has taken a swipe at Arsenal following their emphatic 5-1 victory over the reigning Premier League champions on Sunday.
The Gunners wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Martin Ødegaard firing them ahead just 104 seconds into the match. Erling Haaland briefly restored parity in the 55th minute, but Arsenal responded almost immediately as Thomas Partey put them back in front just a minute later.
Teenager Myles Lewis-Skelly extended the lead with his first senior goal for the club, before mocking Haaland by imitating the City forward’s signature yoga-style celebration—perhaps a response to Haaland’s infamous “stay humble” remark to Mikel Arteta after their fiery 2-2 draw at the Etihad earlier this season.
