Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has chosen to remain close to his teammates despite manager Mikel Arteta’s recommendation that he take a break and spend time away from football while recovering from a hamstring injury.
Last month, Arteta advised Saka to go on holiday to recharge during his recovery from the injury he sustained against Crystal Palace in December. The 23-year-old had been in excellent form before the setback, registering nine goals and 13 assists, but was subsequently ruled out until at least March.
Mikel Arteta told Bukayo Saka to go abroad on holiday and spend some time with his family while he recovers from injury.
Since then, Bukayo Saka has been in attendance at every Arsenal home game.

Speaking on the matter, Arteta stressed the importance of a mental reset for Saka.
Yes, he needs to [go on holiday]. He is obligated to go—with his girlfriend, or his family, or on his own. He can choose,” Arteta said. “He needs to get away for a few days and refresh. He can still do a lot of things with his rehabilitation because it is the perfect stage. It will make him better.”
