Changes coming for Penn State football fans at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium

WHTM) – Penn State football has announced several changes fans will see at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium this season.

 

Fans entering the west side of the stadium at Gates B and C can gain entry to the existing field level concourse for lower bowl access, as well as restrooms and concessions.

The field level will also have access to four new stair towers, which provide access to the new upper concourse level. As previously announced, there are 7,900 temporary seats on the upper level of the west side, with sections W201-205 reserved for students.

 

On the station’s east side, four new escalators are now available, as well as six new stair towers and two temporary bleacher grandstands above Gates A and E.

Fans will also see a new LED board on the South Tunnel entrance, replacing the Nittany Lion tunnel cover.

New field-level LEDs have also been added along the railings of the field wall and enhanced Wi-Fi will be available on game day.

 

Due to ongoing construction on the west side, two ADA access points have been updated. Those new access points will be at the Club/Letterman entrance next to Gate A and the All-Sports Museum entrance next to Gate B.

 

Changes coming for Penn State football parking

Student entry will remain the same this season, and the Bud Light Backyard Beer Garden will return at Gate F.

September 27 – vs. Oregon, 7:30 p.m. (White Out)

October 4 – at UCLA, TBA

Penn State fans are also getting a look at changes inside Beaver Stadium amid a $700 million renovation.

 

During the 2025 season, fans will see 7,900 temporary bleacher seats installed on top of the suite level, along with temporary concession and restroom amenities for the season. The football program has said it will maintain one of the largest stadium capacities in the country.

The Beaver Stadium renovation project is scheduled to be completed before the 2027 football season.
