Madrid forward on the radar of three teams including Bayer Leverkusen

Arda Guler’s signing was announced with great anticipation as Real Madrid were getting their hands on one of Turkey’s most prized young talents.

However, the youngster’s stint in the Spanish capital has not gone according to plan.

Due to injuries, the 19-year-old missed the whole first half of the season, while he has been drip-fed minutes sporadically even after making his comeback in January.

Indeed, coach Carlo Ancelotti has only used Guler on seven occasions in all competitions, for a total of 98 minutes, indicating a lack of confidence in the player.

Owing to the lack of game time Guler is being given, an exit this summer is not being ruled out. While reports of him requesting a departure were denied, several clubs continue to contemplate a loan deal for the teenage sensation.

As per Fichajes with limited minutes at Real Madrid, both player and club are considering a loan for next season.

Three clubs vying for Guler’s signature on loan

And the three clubs interested in carrying out such an operation are AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen.

AC Milan already have a positive experience with Real Madrid’s youngsters, as they previously signed Brahim Diaz on loan, who enjoyed a solid spell with the Italian outfit.

As such, they may be willing to provide Arda Guler with the game time and development he seeks.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, has also indicated interest in the 19-year-old. Known as a breeding ground for young talents to flourish, the German club may provide Guler with the ideal environment to further refine his skills.

Lastly, the Turkish jewel is being considered by Bayer Leverkusen as a possible replacement for Florian Wirtz, who may depart the team in the summer following widespread interest.

The Bundesliga champions are also built with a young core, providing Guler with a platform to fit right in.

Time will tell what Guler’s future entails, but the upcoming Euros which will be held in Germany could prove decisive.
