Arsenal fell to a damaging Premier League defeat at the hands of West Ham United on Saturday afternoon. The loss could mean the end for one Mikel Arteta signing in North London.
With Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz all injured, Mikel Arteta turned to Mikel Merino to lead the line against West Ham.
The Spaniard came in on the back of two goals off the bench against Leicester City last week. However Merino couldn’t produce the same performance at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.
