Alexandra Eala reacts after ‘crazy’ matches recently as she prepares to play in Wuhan qualifying

Alexandra Eala has revealed what her last two tournaments have been like after deciding to miss the China Open.

Eala played the Suzhou Open, as well as the Jingshan Open, two WTA 125 events, in favour of the 1000 event in Beijing.

The Filipino talent will return to WTA 1000 events for the first time since losing to Marketa Vondrousova in the first round of the National Bank Open.

The 20-year-old has opened up about her experiences of playing the two smaller tournaments in China.

Alexandra Eala reveals experiences of Jingshan and Suzhou

Eala was a top seed in both tournaments in Jingshan and Suzhou, but she did not lift the trophy at either competition.

The star lost to Lulu Sun in the Jinshan semi-final, while she was knocked out in the quarter-finals in Suzhou at the hands of Viktorija Golubic.

“Some crazy matches this week,” wrote the 20-year-old on Instagram after WTA 125 events in Jingshan and Suzhou.
