Arsenal are preparing a bid of over £100million for the club’s number one target in Alexander Isak. Mikel Arteta is a long-term admirer of the Newcastle striker and is desperate for the Gunners to sign the Swede ahead of next season.
According to AFCAMDEN on X, Arsenal are still trying to make a signing this month, despite preparing a move for Alexander Isak in the summer.
If Newcastle United miss out on European football this season, especially the Champions League, then the Gunners will feel confident they can secure the signing of Mikel Arteta’s number one target ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Following Newcastle’s win against Southampton yesterday, they currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with Manchester City in fourth. Arsenal will be hoping their form turns in the second half of the season.
