Arsenal consider signing 11-time title winner as Bukayo Saka replacement in January

Arsenal are reportedly exploring a six-month loan move for a highly accomplished winger with 25 major titles to his name as a temporary replacement for the injured Bukayo Saka.

Saka sustained a hamstring injury during the Gunners’ 5-1 win over Crystal Palace, which required surgery. While no precise timeline has been provided for his return, manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Saka will be sidelined for “more than two months.”

Even prior to Saka’s injury, Arsenal’s attack had appeared less potent in open play. According to The Evening Standard, the need to strengthen the forward line was evident before Saka’s absence.

One potential solution is Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich. The report highlights that Arsenal held discussions about the 28-year-old last summer and that he was available on loan.
