Arsenal Diary: What’s in store this week

We’re back in UEFA Champions League and Premier League action with two big games coming up in N5 this week.

Our under-19s will also feature in the UEFA Youth League, while the under-18s face a trip to Norwich City.

Here’s what to look out for on Arsenal.com and the official app over the next seven days.

MONDAY

11am – Mikel Arteta press conference

Our manager is back in front of the media at Sobha Realty Training Centre for his pre-Shakhtar Donetsk press conference.

He will preview the Champions League clash, share the latest team news after Saturday’s game against Bournemouth and more.

TUESDAY

1pm – Arsenal U19s v Shakhtar Donetsk

 

U19 Atalanta

Max Porter’s young Gunners are back in Youth League action against Shakhtar Donetsk’s under-19s at Meadow Park.

We’re 24th in the table after losing 4-1 to Atalanta and beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0, while Shakhtar are 23rd having beaten Bologna 4-3 and lost 3-0 to Atalanta.

8pm – Arsenal v Shakhtar Donetsk

Four points from our 0-0 draw with Atalanta and 2-0 win over PSG see us go into Tuesday’s game 13th in the Champions League table, while our visitors are 27th after a 0-0 draw with Bologna and a 3-0 defeat to Atalanta.

THURSDAY

Internationals

 

Dowman v Germany

We’ll share a round-up of the members of our women’s team who have been on international duty.

There are also three men’s academy players set to be in action for England’s under-17s, with Jack Porter, Theo Julienne and Max Dowman all called up for the Young Lions’ UEFA Euro U17 qualifier against Malta at 10am.

FRIDAY

Mikel will turn his attention to Sunday’s game against Liverpool in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

Again, you’ll be able to watch it live on the website homepage or the official app.

SATURDAY

12pm – Norwich City v Arsenal U18s

Our under-18s are back in U18 Premier League South action with a trip to Norwich City this weekend.

We’re unbeaten in the league this season with two wins and three draws from the opening five games, while the Canaries are 10th with six points after a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

SUNDAY

4.30pm – Arsenal v Liverpool

 

Emirates GV

We’re back at Emirates Stadium for another huge clash with the Premier League leaders as we look to bounce back after last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

Arne Slot’s side won 2-1 at home to Chelsea on Sunday and have only been beaten by Nottingham Forest so far this season.
