Arsenal star issues public apology after poor Leicester performance.

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has acknowledged that he was below his usual standards during the team’s 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners initially struggled to break down Leicester, missing key players such as Kai Havertz, who has been ruled out for the season. Leandro Trossard started as a makeshift striker, but Arsenal lacked cutting edge in attack.

With Raheem Sterling also failing to make an impact, Mikel Arteta introduced midfielder Mikel Merino in the second half as an emergency striker.

The tactical gamble paid off, as Merino netted a late brace to seal Arsenal’s crucial win.

Partey, who played 76 minutes before being substituted for Jorginho, later reflected on his performance in a candid Instagram post.
