As a Cubs fan since 1987. I’ll be 44 in June. I was born and raised in Huntington WV in which cable TV included TBS (braves) and WGN (Cubs and Sox) my father loved the braves and would hog the TV so I chose the Cubbies and to this day they’re my favorite professional sports team ever… the night they won the world series was one of the best days of my life and one which I’ll never forget…this team came out with the trophy and got us a day off work but I just remember the day games and the 1st ever night game at Wrigley as a little boy and I was in love. Harry Carrey, Sandberg, Dunston,Grace, George Bell, Jody Davis, Jerome Walton, and my all time favorite player “The Hawk” Andre Dawson… baseball to me is the best and most true sport of all time
