Brazilian striker informs other clubs he only wants to join Arsenal.

Arsenal are actively seeking attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window following injuries to key players Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. Mikel Arteta has publicly urged the board to provide support, emphasising the need for new additions to sustain their push for silverware this season.

“My opinion is clear: we lost two very, very important players, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. So we lack goals, we lack people, we lack options in the frontline—it’s clear,” Arteta stated. “Ideally, we need some help. We were short already, and now we are even shorter. The team still copes with that, but we have to do what is right for the club.”

Several names have been linked with a move to Arsenal, including Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, Igor Jesus, and Evan Ferguson. However, only a few of these targets appear realistically attainable this month.

Meanwhile, Wolves’ Matheus Cunha has reportedly refused to sign a new contract, opening the door for a potential exit. Wolves value their star forward at over £80 million and are determined to retain him, but their refusal to include a release clause in contract negotiations has frustrated the Brazilian, increasing the likelihood of a transfer.
