Now he will look to finish his career on a high as Los Blancos try to win the Champions League for a record 15th time, while Germany attempt to triumph in Euro 2024 in their own backyard.

Kroos will play his last La Liga game on Saturday when Madrid take on Real Betis, before they lock horns with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on June 1. His German side begin their Euro 2024 campaign against Scotland on June 14.
