Stoke City could be forced to cash in on Million Manhoef over PSR fears..
EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal that Million Manhoef could be moved on from Stoke City this summer due to fears over PSR.
Championship clubs are facing a battle to stay within the financial parameters, as seen by the fact that Leicester City could be facing a points deduction for breaching PSR rules.

Sheffield Wednesday’s financial state is also a concern and teams may be forced to move their best players on in a bid to stay above the red line.
Stoke are no different and Manhoef, who has hinted he could leave the Potters, may be the man in question to depart.

Once again, the Potters will have money to spend, but EFL Analysis’ Chief Football Correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Manhoef could go for a decent fee due to the PSR tightrope the club finds itself walking along.
He said: “It’s my understanding that he’s likely to leave. A decent offer will get him out. It won’t be huge, it’ll be less than £10 million.
“But Stoke have got money. It’s just PSR and spending, so if they do a sale it would benefit Stoke to allow them to do other business. You can’t just spend, as we know, but in theory Stoke have one of the richest owners in England so it’s not like they need the money, but obviously everyone has to abide by the rules to a certain extent.”

Which clubs could sign Million Manhoef?
Earlier this year, we revealed that Celtic and Club Brugge were interested in Manhoef and that a deal anywhere between £8-£10m could be enough to prise him away from Staffordshire.
Bailey added that the Dutchman also has interest from Premier League clubs, but a move overseas is the most likely bet.

“Sometimes Stoke will have to make a sale and I think Manhoef will be the one this summer. He’s got a bit of interest from the lower Premier League teams, but I think it’s more likely he will go the continent,” he confirmed.
