With Villa unwilling to entertain offers for Watkins—especially after sanctioning Jhon Duran’s move to Saudi club Al Nassr—Arsenal have been forced to explore other options. Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko remain high on Arteta’s wishlist, but both players are expected to stay at their respective clubs until at least the summer.
