Wrexham’s final away game of the 2023/24 season proved to be a promotion party on and off the pitch as the Red Dragons stormed to victory against ten-man Crewe.
With Wrexham supporters, some in fancy dress, packing the away end the players continued the good mood from sealing promotion last weekend with a comfortable win against our rivals from Cheshire.
Ollie Palmer stooped to head in the opener and Paul Mullin lobbed the keeper to score a second before the break. After Ryan Cooney saw red for a blatant handball, Andy Cannon then wrapped up victory.
The players then came over to the away end to hand shirts over and celebrate promotion with the supporters in the Crewe sunshine.
