Top striker wants a return to Arsenal in the near future
Fantastic striker has revealed that he would be happy to return to Arsenal in the future following his move last summer
Sturm Graz striker Mika Biereth, who left Arsenal during the summer transfer window, has expressed his desire to one day return to the Premier League giants. The 20-year-old Dane, who struggled to make an impact at Arsenal, revealed his ambition to play for the Gunners again in the future.
Biereth joined Arsenal from Fulham in 2021 but found it difficult to break into Mikel Arteta’s first team. As a result, he spent time on loan at RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell, and eventually Sturm Graz. After impressing during his loan spell in Austria, Sturm Graz made the move permanent.
Speaking to TV2, Biereth discussed his current situation at Sturm Graz and his aspirations for the future. “Things are going well at Sturm Graz. I have nothing to complain about right now,” he said. “I play every week at a good level, and now we’re also competing in the Champions League, where I’m still waiting for my first goal”.
Despite his focus on his current club, Biereth did not hide his desire to test himself in the Premier League again. “If I keep playing well and scoring goals, hopefully a change can come, but right now I’m focused on Sturm and on doing well here. A return to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not something I’m focusing on at the moment.”
