Jackie Apostel has opened up about the beginning of her love story with Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham. The 30-year-old songwriter, who recently celebrated her milestone birthday, admitted that she “didn’t know what to expect” when she first met Cruz in a recording studio — but left that day feeling something had completely changed.
Jackie recalled: “We were put together by our managers to write songs. I was told he’d been working on his own project for a while, exploring new sounds. I went in with an open mind, but I left that day knowing he was an unbelievable musician who truly loved what he was doing.”
The couple’s creative connection quickly turned into friendship — and eventually romance. Jackie added: “During that time, work became friendship, and friendship became us. You’ve found who you want to be, and you’re finally ready to share it. I’m your biggest fan forever. I love you.”
Their 10-year age gap hasn’t stopped the pair from growing stronger. When a critic questioned their relationship, Jackie hit back gracefully, saying she’s with Cruz “because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal — and also quite handsome.”
Jackie has been proudly supporting Cruz at his gigs as he prepares to release his debut single Optics/Lick The Frog later this week. Posting backstage photos, she wrote, “He’s doing his thing, having fun, learning, all his songs made by him, played by him, sung by him. I’m so proud — absolutely smashing it.”
