HOT-TEMPERED: Antony held back from referee by Man Utd team-mate Ambarat after ‘going ridiculous’ during Liverpool clash ‎

Following his “going crаzy” during Manchester United’s draw with Liverpool, ANTONY had to be restrained by the referee.

 

Late in Sunday’s match at Old Trafford, the winger lost control and started yelling at the referees.

After failing to draw a foul against Liverpool, the winger was cautioned for his outbursts.Credit: Getty When Antony went down during a header challenge with Andy Robertson, referee Anthony Taylor decided not to call a foul.

 

After then, Luis Diaz lunged for the stray ball, but he was unable to maintain his momentum.

 

Feeling as though he had been shoved to the ground, the United man went straight up to Taylor.

 

The Brazilian protested the judgment even after receiving a yellow card.It wasn’t until Sofyan Amrabat intervened to shove him away from the referee that he was spared additional punishment.

 

Commenting, Gary Neville clarified, saying, “Antony must exercise caution.

 

Amrabat is having to drag him away because he is getting so angry with the referee. He feels as though Robertson has pushed him.”

 

On social media, fans also commented on the situation, with one saying: “Amrabat, fair play. Antony, hold your tongue.”Another person said, “Amrabat and Anthony are figҺting.” Combined into chaos.”

 

Fearing a red card and a second yellow, the Moroccan midfielder looked irate with his teammate as he tried to console him..

Marcus Rashford was substituted for Antony early in the second half when the England player had to leave the game due to an ιnjury.

 

Luckily for Antony, United managed to hold on for a point despite his protests not earning him a second yellow card.

 

After the 2-2 tie, the Red Devils are now eight points behind Tottenham in fifth place in the Premier League.

 

However, it gave Arsenal the upper hand and severely damaged Liverpool’s hopes of winning the title.
