Arsenal are set to visit Villa Park in Saturday’s prime-time kick-off as the Gunners look to get better of former manager Unai Emery after what was a tough outing away at the Villains in the previous campaign.

The Gunners started the campaign with a bang as they got their Premier League campaign off to a winning start against Gary O’Neil’s Wolves last weekend.

It was an all-round showing at the Emirates last time around as Kai Havertz netted in Arsenal’s Premier League opener past Jose Sa, which was followed by a Bukayo Saka banger just as the visitors were getting into the game.

Arsenal star Boy will be tipped to get Arsenal flying yet again as they visit a ground that has generally been a tricky visit in the recent past. And as Mikel Arteta preps for tomorrow’s fixture, Ray Parlour has tipped the Gunners to get all three points and for Bukayo Saka to get on the scoring sheet.

While Arsenal enjoyed a 2-0 win against Wolves last weekend, Parlour feels Arsenal weren’t at their flowing best in the Premier League opener. However, the former Gunners player believes that they have enough firepower to see Villa at home. He predicts a 2-1 win for the men in the infamous red and white.

Parlour speaking on talkSPORT:

“They (Arsenal) weren’t great against Wolves. It was a bit stop-start, the first 20, 25 minutes, they weren’t as flowing as they usually are,”

“But I have got to go with Arsenal to nick a result here. I am going to go 2-1. Saka was unbelievable and played really well against Wolves. He is going to continue at Aston Villa and score a goal. 2-1.”

BUKAYO SAKA KEY AS ARSENAL HEADS TO VILLA PARK

Ray Parlour isn’t wrong about Arsenal’s performance against Wolves, as the Gunners still looked rusty and were nowhere near their best despite crusing through a routine 2-0 win, thanks to Bukayo Saka.

The 22-year-old looked in fine touch as he floated in a fantastic cross for Kai Havertz to head home a perfect opener. The German international returned the favour in the second half as Gary O’Neil’s side were building into the game. Kai put through Saka on the right flank as he cut into his preferred left foot and finessed in the near-post winner.

Bukayo Saka is tipped for greatness this season, and the Gunners would be hoping that their star boy would carry the Cannon home once again.

Arsenal lost home and away against Unai Emery’s side last season—two games that could have changed their Premier League fortunes.

The former Arsenal manager saw a 1-0 win at Villa Park last December, owing to a John McGinn goal. The reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium was even better as Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins scored late to get all three points.

Hopefully Ray Parlour is right and we come though against Villa with with three points.
