Barcelona has allegedly been offered the Brazilian winger Antony by Manchester United before the summer transfer window opens.
With the FA Cup as their only chance to win a trophy, the Dutch boss is under a lot of pressure, especially since there has been a lot of activity at the club.
Criticism of his work has mostly been based on specific questions about who he has hired since coming to the club, with Antony being the most common example.
The Brazilian winger was reportedly bought from Ajax for £85 million, but he hasn’t lived up to the price tag so far as he hasn’t scored or set up a goal in the Premier League this season.
Football 365 says that Spanish news outlet Nacional says that Manchester United have offered the 24-year-old to Barcelona.
The story says that United would even be willing to let the Brazilian international play for them on loan, but Barcelona isn’t sure they want to sign him.
Antony has been sitting on the bench a lot, so Ten Hag has chosen Alejandro Garnacho to play on the right. The 19-year-old has already scored five goals and set up three others this season.
