The robust central defender from Berlin, Germany was born on March 3, 1993. Toni began his youth career in his hometown, where he played football for VFB Sperber Neukölln, a small club in the south of Berlin.
Rüdi later joined Tasmania Berlin and later Neuköllner Sportfreunde 1907. After a while it became evident that he had talent and he was signed by Borussia Dortmund in 2008.
But it was at VfB Stuttgart that he began his professional career in 2012. After a few good years at Stuttgart playing football in the Bundesliga, he was signed by AS Roma, a Serie A club, in a contract worth 10 million euros.
The defender developed further in Rome, where Premier League club Chelsea paid 35 million euros for his signature. In London, the German became one of the best central defenders in the world and was a key player in the club’s success.
During his time with the Blues, Toni won the 2017/18 FA Cup, 2018/19 Europa League, 2020/21 UEFA Champions League and 2021 Club World Cup. This led to a move to the biggest club of the world, Real Madrid, in 2022.

Antonio Rudiger was born in Berlin to parents Matthias and Lily Rudiger, who fled Sierra Leone during the civil war.
Rudiger was born in Germany a year after his parents fled Africa.
Rudiger’s parents currently reside in Berlin, Germany, but were born in Sierra Leone. His entire family is of African descent, having lived in Sierra Leone before the civil war began in that country in 1991.

Antonio was fifteen years old when he visited Sierra Leone after the country’s decade-long civil conflict ended in 2008. Although he was born and raised in Germany’s capital, his African roots are deeply embedded in him.
Rudier, an immigrant to Germany from an African country, grew up in a safe neighborhood and was well educated. The neighborhood where he grew up was densely populated with people from all over the world.

Although the severity of the challenges in his country requires everyone’s help, it is a country in need and he has committed to doing his best and contributing in some way to helping children.

Antonio Rudiger grew up in an African family. Along with his parents, Antonio has five siblings: four sisters and one brother.
Despite being the youngest of his parents Matthias and Lily’s six children, he is the tallest at 190cm tall. His half-brother is former German football player Sahr Senesie.

Sahr is Rudiger’s only brother and is 37 years old. He is married to Svenja. For Germany, he played in the opposing attacking position. Sahr was born in the town of Koidu, Sierra Leone. He moved to Germany with his parents, Matthias and Lily, from Sierra Leone.
Sahr Senesie now represents his brother Antonio Rudiger, who managed to move from Chelsea to Real Madrid due to Sahr Senesie’s participation.

Antonio Rudiger is married to his long-time partner, Laura Rudiger. Antonio and Laura started dating a long time ago, when he was still playing for German club VfB Stuttgart.
Antonio Rudiger and Laura got married in 2019. They tied the knot in a private ceremony, attended by their closest friends and family.
