Here are the player ratings for Manchester United’s shambolic FA Cup Semi-final win over Coventry City…
Starters
Andre Onana – 5
Couldn’t have done much about the first goal but should’ve saved the second. Made one save in the shootout.
Diogo Dalot – 6
Decent assist. Could’ve done more to stop the first goal. Good penalty.
Casemiro – 5
Might just have a future at center back for another club. Awful penalty.
Harry Maguire – 7
Solid header. Not really at fault for any of the goals. Almost scored a ridiculous solo goal and showed initiative with the ball towards the end.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 2
Unsurprisingly, wasn’t great going forward and a bit slow at tracking his man throughout the game. The penalty was harsh but it is what it is. A game to forget.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6
Solid while he was on the field. The team’s much better with him running things from deep.
Scott McTominay – 6
Great run and goal but not much else. Story of his season.
Bruno Fernandes – 7
One of those games where you feel like no one can be defended anymore but it doesn’t apply to Fernandes. Cool as you like from the spot.
Marcus Rashford – 3
Ran into traffic far too often. Just no effort without the ball.
Rasmus Hojlund – 4
Been a bit quiet since returning to the side. Was poor today. Excellent penalty.
Alejandro Garnacho – 6
The pick of the three. Should’ve been played through a few times before getting subbed off.
Subs
Antony – 2
Not improved his decision making since joining the club. At fault for the second goal.
Christian Eriksen – 4
Brought some calmness for five minutes. Scored from the spot.
Amad Diallo – 6
He might not make it here but it’s baffling how rarely Ten Hag has called upon him.
Omari Forson – 5
Offered a threat after coming on.
Manager
Erik Ten Hag – 3
I’d like to get into Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s head right now because that felt weird.
