Real Madrid Are Open To Recruiting This Manchester City Star: Good Choice For Los Blancos?. Man city star is willing to join the club if Real Madrid will agree to these terms .

In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid are open to recruiting Manchester City star Bernardo Silva this summer. It is understood that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez would be open to the possibility of signing the Portugal international at the end of this campaign.

Silva’s Decent Run Of Form At Man City This Season

Silva is having a decent campaign at the Mancunian club after putting in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 29-year-old has banged in 11 goals and picked up five assists in 42 matches for Man City this season across all fronts.

The Lisboa-born talent has been a consistent performer for Man City in the opponent’s half as he is averaging 1.6 tackles, 1.1 shots, 2.0 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has even been accurate when interchanging possession with his teammates based on his pass completion rate of 89% in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the Etihad Stadium will expire in the summer of 2026 which could make it difficult for Los Blancos to sign him on the cheap in the upcoming transfer period.

Is Silva A Good Choice For Real Madrid?

Silva is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with the ball out on the flanks. He has got the vision to create some meaningful openings for his teammates up top. The Portuguese talent can even strike the ball with venom and precision from long range. He mainly operates as an attacking midfielder but can also play on the right flank or serve as a box-to-box midfielder if required.

Silva would undeniably enhance the quality of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s first XI. He is good enough to earn a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next season.

At 29, Silva is playing in his prime and has what it takes to make an instant impact at the Madrid club if Ancelotti can devise a way to get a deal done for him this summer. All in all, the Portugal international would be a great choice for the Madrid giants to pursue in the short term.
