La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been afforded some positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Aurélien Tchouaméni is progressing from his recent injury more quickly than expected.
France international Tchouaméni was of course dealt a heavy blow last week.
As much came upon confirmation that the 24-year-old’s early departure from Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final 2nd-leg meeting with Bayern Munich had come owing to an injury.
Ensuing medical tests revealed a stress fracture in Tchouaméni’s foot, throwing his status for next month’s tournament finale firmly up in the air.
If the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, though, then Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield enforcer should be fit and ready to face Borussia Dortmund.
As per a report from RMC Sport, Tchouaméni ‘is doing better’.
Citing regular discussions between the ex-Monaco man and France head coach Didier Deschamps, the former is expected, at the very least, to be part of Real Madrid’s matchday setup for the Champions League final on June 1st.
