REAL MADRID NAME SQUAD FOR BARCELONA, WITH MAJOR INJURY DOUBT INCLUDED

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Saturday unveiled the club’s matchday squad to take on Barcelona on Sunday night.

The two biggest clubs in all of Spanish football are of course primed to lock horns once more in a little over 24 hours’ time.

As much comes in the latest edition of El Clásico, between the aforementioned Real and Barca.

The former will head into proceedings in the knowledge that a victory would see them all but confirmed as the new La Liga champions, owing to an 11-point advantage atop the table.

In turn, Carlo Ancelotti and co. have as expected named a strong squad of players for the Clásico.

As much was unveiled across social media a short time ago, with one inclusion in particular marking a major boost for all associated with Los Blancos.

The player in question? Ferland Mendy.

Early on Saturday, it was confirmed that left-back Mendy was not training alongside the rest of his teammates at Valdebebas, owing to a muscular overload.

Evidently, though, the problem is not enough to have ruled him out of contention to feature on Sunday, with Real Madrid’s squad to face Barcelona, in full, showcased below:
