After being selected by interim boss Lee Carsley, the duo will aim to help the Three Lions pick up a pair of wins to elevate them into top spot in their group and earn promotion back to League A. They currently trail the Greeks by three points heading into the final round of matches, which will be the last before new boss Thomas Tuchel starts his new job in January.
The crunch clash comes on Thursday when the top two meet in Athens, as England look to avenge their 2-1 defeat at Wembley last month. That’s where the final group game takes place when Ireland head to London the following Sunday, with Declan scoring against the side from the Emerald Isle in the return fixture a couple of months ago.
That was one of five goals Declan has netted for his country, which have come in 62 caps since his debut in 2019. Bukayo meanwhile is hoping to add to his 43 caps, and currently has 12 goals in that time.
Carsley has selected two new faces in his 26-man squad, with defenders Taylor Harwood-Bellis of Southampton and Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall picked, while Curtis Jones will be hoping to win his first full cap.
