A rumoured Arsenal transfer target reportedly wants to leave Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer, putting a host of clubs, including the Gunners, on high alert over a potential move.
When Arda Güler joined Real Madrid back in July 2023 at just 18 years old, he did so as one of the most exciting young prospects in world football – after impressing for Turkish side Fenerbache, for whom he had already made 51 senior appearances – despite his tender age.
Despite making a total of 40 senior appearances in the year and a half since joining Los Blancos, the Turkish international has struggled for minutes under Carlo Ancelotti this season, starting just seven games in all competitons, and could be looking for a new challenge already.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Güler, as well as his Real Madrid teammate Endrick, a young Brazilian striker who only joined Los Blancos in July 2024, after he turned 18 years old – a year and a half after the agreement for him to join the club was announced, are both keen to leave the Spanish giants.
