Tommy Setford makes his first-team debut for us tonight in the Carabao Cup fourth round match away to Championship side Preston North End.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper joined us from Ajax in the summer, but was injured for the third-round win over Bolton Wanderers last month. He becomes the 911th player to represent the Arsenal men’s first team.

William Saliba returns from his one-match suspension to start in central defence alongside Jakub Kiwior, while Jurrien Timber – who went off in the second half of our 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday – is fit to start at right back. Oleksandr Zinchenko completes the back four at left back.
Jorginho skippers the side in midfield with Mikel Merino and Ethan Nwaneri also starting.
Gabriel Jesus leads the line up front with Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Martinelli on the wings. From Sunday’s matchday squad, Neto (cup tied), Ben White and Gabriel all miss out.
The hosts, who are currently 16th in the Championship, make six changes from the side that drew with Plymouth at the weekend. Former Gunner youth player Sam Greenwood is among those to start.
