Chicago White Sox’s center fielder, Luis Robert Jr. According to Bleacher Report’s Kerry Miller, Robert could be available for a trade, and the Mets might take a swing at him. While Brandon Nimmo is capable of playing center, Robert could be a solid option for the Mets’ outfield.

Robert had a strong run between 2021 and 2023, but his 2024 season was a mess. He only played 100 games and posted an underwhelming .657 OPS. This season hasn’t started much better, either, with just six hits in 39 at-bats. Still, the Mets could take a chance on him, hoping he can return to his superstar form.
