After four Premier League games without a victory, Arsenal got back to winning ways at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Mikel Artetaās side had fallen behind in the title race before the international break which meant it was a must win game against Nottingham Forest yesterday.
The Gunners got the job done with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and Ethan Nwaneri. The victory keeps Arsenal just about in the title race with Liverpool facing Southampton on Sunday.
According to recent reports, ahead of the game on Saturday the club had opened talks with Bukayo Saka over a new contract extension. The 23-year-oldās currently deal lasts until the summer of 2027, however the club are keen to tie down one of their most important assets to a new long-term contract.
