More than two decades later, Victoria said their relationship has endured everything the public and media threw at them. Reflecting on their 26 years of marriage, she shared that what didn’t break them only made their bond stronger, calling David her constant through all the chaos.
Facing the storm together
Victoria said she and David have faced enormous pressure since their early years together. “We’ve had so much thrown at us,” she admitted. “We’ve always just been there together and ridden the storm.”
She noted that despite constant public scrutiny, their shared commitment kept them united. David, too, has spoken about that difficult period in his 2023 Netflix documentary Beckham, saying that seeing Victoria hurt was “incredibly difficult,” but their love and family were worth fighting for.
