As Real Madrid prepare to take on Mallorca, star forward Vinicius Jr. has warned Jude Bellingham about the aggressive nature of Antonio José Raíllo and Pablo Maffeo.
“They’re going to kick you hard, they’re going to kick you, they’re going to try to take you out of the game, they always do it,” this is what Vinicius told Bellingham about Mallorca, as reported by Defensa Central.
Vinicius understands this situation perfectly. If he gets on the field, chances are high that he will clash with them once again. Plus, the fans will also likely try to provoke him to get under his skin.
For what it is worth, Vinicius regularly faces tough challenges on the field, enduring not only hard tackles but also constant taunts from opponents who are well aware of his short temper.
This often leads to him exiting games prematurely and because of this, he felt compelled to confide in his friend Bellingham.
The Mallorca game can help him return to his best
As far as Bellingham is concerned, he is known for his strong personality, though he typically handles his emotions better than Vinicius.
Nevertheless, it is important to alert him about what his opponents might attempt, as sometimes that’s their only strategy against gifted players.
Regardless of the situation, Bellingham is eager to regain his form, evident from his recent lack of rhythm on the field.
The club acknowledges his physical fitness but believes he needs more game time to hit top form again. Unfortunately, breaks for national team duty, the Copa del Rey, and an ankle sprain have sidelined him for several matches.
However, if he delivers a solid performance in Mallorca, perhaps by scoring or assisting, it is highly probable we will witness the return of his finest form against Manchester City. Such a resurgence would be immensely valuable for the team.
